INDEPENDENT. LOCAL. IN THE LOOP.

Our people.
Our rhythm.

Every city has a sound.
Actually, it has a whole lot of them.

Afro Weekend brings together Afro house, amapiano, Afrobeats and deep house events across the SF Bay Area, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

We want finding a good night out to feel as easy as a recommendation from a friend. A date, a place, a sound, and a link to the people making it happen.

The music deserves the details.

We keep genres distinct, show the source, and say when a price or age policy isn't listed. Every listing comes from a public event source. Collection timestamps describe when we found it; they aren't a guarantee from the promoter.

The weekly newsletter brings together events in the SF Bay Area, Los Angeles and San Diego, with a separate section for each region.
